Things to do in Bečići

Bečići sits just east of Budva, a roughly 2 km stretch of continuous sandy beach lined with sunbeds and parasols rather than the pebbly coves common elsewhere on the Adriatic. The hotel strip dates from the 1970s and 80s, package-tourism blocks built for domestic and Soviet-bloc visitors, since renovated into 3- and 4-star properties with pools and half-board deals.

It works as a base if the priority is a walkable sandy beach with easy sunbed access rather than nightlife: Budva's old town and its bars are about a 15-20 minute walk or a short taxi ride away, so you get distance from the noise without losing access to it.

Kotor itself is roughly 30 minutes by car via the coastal road, useful for a day trip rather than a base if you want the old town on your doorstep.
