Things to do in Kotor Old Town
Kotor's old town is small enough to cross on foot in ten minutes, but the layout rewards slow loops rather than a straight line to the fortress gate. From the Sea Gate, Piazza Armi opens onto the clock tower; alleys narrow and widen into Piazza du Lait and Piazza des Farines, each ringed by cafe terraces that stay shaded through the afternoon.
On the square by the cathedral, the Orthodox churches of St Luke and St Nicholas sit side by side, a leftover of Kotor's mixed Catholic-Orthodox history. 30am. A coffee on one of the smaller squares costs around 2 to 3 EUR, and there's no admission fee to walk the old town itself, only for the fortress walls above it.
