Things to do at Jaz Beach

Jaz Beach is a sand-and-shingle stretch of nearly 2 km on the Budva Riviera, best known for hosting open-air concerts by the Rolling Stones in 2007 and Madonna the same summer, when temporary stages went up on the sand. There is no promenade or footpath from Budva old town: you need a car or a taxi, roughly 10-15 minutes along the coast road.

Sunbeds and umbrellas are rented by the day from private operators along the main section; prices creep up in July and August. The northern end has functioned for years as an unofficial naturist area, tolerated rather than signposted.

Parking is informal and fills early on August weekends, and there is little shade beyond a few beach bars, so plan for a full sun exposure day.
