Things to do in Petrovac

Petrovac na Moru sits on the Budva Riviera, 30 minutes south of Kotor by car, with a compact beach curling below a 16th-century Venetian fort that still guards the promenade. It draws more families than Budva's nightlife crowd, and the seafront empties out fast once you walk five minutes past the main strip.

Two smaller coves flank the town: Lučice, reached on foot along a short cliff path, and Buljarica, a longer sand-and-pebble stretch usually covered by a water-taxi from the harbour in season.

Rooms and konobas here run cheaper than Budva, roughly 10-15 EUR for a grilled fish plate, and the fortress islet just offshore is a five-minute swim or a two-minute pedal-boat ride for anyone wanting a look from the water.
