Things to do in Sveti Stefan

Sveti Stefan is a fortified islet-village on the Budva Riviera, linked to the mainland by a narrow sand isthmus, about 30 minutes from Kotor by car. Since the early 2010s the whole islet has operated as an Aman-group five-star hotel, and public access ends at the isthmus gate: you cannot walk onto the village unless you are a paying guest.

The best free view is from the roadside belvedere on the main coastal road above the village, where cars pull in for photos of the rooftops against the sea. At sea level, a public beach sits immediately alongside the isthmus, separate from the hotel's private stretch reserved for guests; sunbeds and prices there run independently of the resort.

Milocer park, next to the isthmus, is also open to walk through.
